Just letting you know about Worship Central Hong Kong. Its a 2 day worship training event, and Tim Hughes (Here I am to worship / Beautiful One) will be there along with others!!!

Would love it if anyone in the youth band that wanted to go would go, but everyone from SR is welcome, and it might be especially relevant because of our series on worship!

Lamenting is something that I’m definitely still learning, but I do believe it is necessary to express the emotion we have within us. It isn’t wrong to feel angry or sad or hurt and to express that.

In fact sometimes the point at which you lament is the very point at which healing can begin, as the brokenness and evil in the world is turned into something beautiful in song, poem or in art:

Some of you may have heard of Scott, he performed last year for a small group at Resurrection Church and had a blast! You and your group is encouraged to attend if you can make it!

SCOTT DARLOW is from Australia and is a full time musician who works primarily in Churches and high schools (was formerly a high school teacher) leading Worship, speaking and teaching, and also playing original songs in Church services.
